Dealing with social media influences and influencers

Social media (fb, twitter, Insta etc.) have their advantages that cannot be ignored. They are an integral part of our social life. However, sometimes their influence can disrupt our everyday harmony and that is the point when some help might be needed

There are those that are influencers or the ones who post every positive life moment. They have their own set of issues and motivations that are beyond scope of this writing.

This post is for the rest of us. Yes, you are me who are watching these activities and feel how boring and predictable our life has become. We wish we were there, in their shoes, and how the grass is greener on the other side.

One option is to shut off social media but that would be the same as saying we should stop driving because there are road accidents. The key is to shut social media off but to learn how to use so it works for us. In other words, learn how to drive safely in social media arena.

Our feeds provide a window to the outside world, and we should select what we are feeding to our mind. Is it getting us in harmony or out of it? Is it motivating us or making us think our lives are miserable? Are our social media friends giving us those good positive vibes or negative? Like we choose our friends we should choose those feeds

Did you know that in Facebook, you can choose to snooze certain feeds for a week, 30 days or permanently? You can snooze them even though you are still connected to them as friends. They won’t even notice and occasionally you will be able to troll their timelines. How’s that? Worth a try?

And for any of those that need some help dealing with it, here are some bach flower recommendations

Larch: Lack of self-confidence
Holly: Hatred envy jealousy
Willow: Self-pity and Resentment

Bach remedies are safe and natural drops that can heal gently negative emotional states that interfere with the equilibrium of the being.
